Blake's Sauce-Off - BBQ Sauce Competition
Join us on May 24, 2025 at Blake's second annual Sauce-Off, in our attempt to claim people and judges choice in our category for the 2nd year in a row!
Picture this: A crisp pint in one hand, a saucy wing in the other, and a lineup of bold, mouthwatering flavors waiting to be devoured. From sticky-sweet creations to fiery, sweat-inducing spice bombs, you’ll taste, judge, and maybe even discover your new favorite sauce.
Here, sauce aficionados battle it out in 3 categories: Sweet, Spicy, & BBQ - for the chance to have their winning sauce featured on Blake’s Tasting Room menu. With over 1,000,000 visitors annually, this competition offers a unique opportunity to showcase our culinary prowess and have our sauce savored by a diverse audience of food enthusiasts. Ace Hardware of Clare, 20th Anniversary - Sample Station
Friday June 13th from 10am - 4pm and Saturday June 14th from 10am - 4pm. Vendors on hand for demos include EGO Power Products, Weber Grills, Big Green Egg, Benjamin Moore, Scotts, DeWalt and Uncle Lumpy’s Kitchen to name a few. Prize giveaways. Frankenmuth Cheese Haus Palooza - Sample Station
Join us in Frankenmuth on Saturday June 14 at the Frankenmuth Cheese Haus! This FREE event will allow you to sample our Bee Sting Sauce, as well as explore a variety of cheese-related vendors offering complimentary samples! Witness cheesy craftsmanship firsthand as they unveil a magnificent 600-pound cheese tower of our newest cheese named by YOU, FrankenCheddar! This block will be carved into a work of art by a skilled cheese sculptor. Throughout the weekend, their skilled artisan will also showcase her talent on other cheese blocks.
Old Fashioned Days: Village of Marion - Sales Booth
With Sauce SAMPLES and SALES available, Marion Old Fashioned Days is an annual festival held in Marion, Michigan, typically during the first full weekend of August. Over 30 vendors will be available during the event!
The event celebrates the town's rich history and community spirit, offering a variety of activities suitable for all ages. Visit us Saturday March 15 from 10a -8p at the Mitten BBQ Supply booth at the DeVos Place Convention Center for the 2025 Ultimate Sport Show - Michigan’s finest tradition for the avid fisherman, hunter or outdoor loving family! Exhibitors will be at the show with the latest in outdoor gear, travel information and fishing boats. The features are famous: Antique Lures, Trout Pond, Hawg Trough, Woodcarvers, Big Buck Night and the Rock Wall. Nearly 100 fishing and hunting seminars will be held on 5 stages, including Lake Ultimate, the 110,000 gallon indoor lake.

Clare Family Night Out
